John is a lifelong Seattle area resident who now resides in Edmonds. He is a UW graduate and also has a degree from the Seattle University MBA program. Outside of two years with the Boeing Company and two years in the publishing business, John has spent his entire career in the insurance industry. He’s worked in management for several insurance companies but has spent the last thirteen years as an insurance agent writing personal, commercial, life and long term care insurance.
John spent 20 years with the Air Force Reserve at McChord AFB. His hobbies are travel, boating, and attending Husky sports events.
John is married to Deborah Hesseltine and has three children, Kate, Krista Williams, and Anthony. He is an ambassador for the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce. He's also a member of the Columbia Athletic Club in the Silver Lake area, as well as the Columbia Tower Club where he serves on two committees.
